The Taylormade M3 460cc driver features a new and innovative face and sole technologies that combine to fine tune and dial in your tee shots.
TaylorMade have produced the 460cc driver for the golfer who prefers to look down on a smaller driver head that will maximise shot making capabilities.
TaylorMade have not change a lot aesthetically at the address and still use the black carbon crown and white design which has proved so popular with all levels of golfers. But it is the face design where things take a twist.
Twist Face technology is a face that features a new curvature design that will transform mishits like never before. Most mishits are located in two positions on a driver, high-toe or low-heel. To correct these mishits the shape and curve of the Twist Face provide more loft to the high-toe strikes and less loft to the low-heel strikes.
Wherever you mishit the M3 driver you are pretty much guaranteed to be in a better position than if you were not using an M3 driver.
To provide the face with a larger sweetspot a new slot technology called Hammerhead has been designed. A reinforced outer portion of the slot delivers a lighter more flexible face that results in the bigger sweet spot and more forgiveness as well as higher ball speeds across the whole face for improved distance.
The centre portion of the Hammerhead slot helps provide a better ball flight on shots located low and central, it will drop spin off the ball and give it more distance.
To really fine tune your driver the TaylorMade M3 driver features a newly designed Y track system that will allow you to manipulate the ball flight conditions for almost any desired shot shape, this is the first time that TaylorMade have connected the track, by doing so there are so many more options in terms of settings.
