How to gauge if these shafts are the correct length for your clubs! Most ferrules on shafts are set at 1 inch onto the tip of the shaft. So if you measure the existing shaft in your 7 iron from where the black ferrule meets the metal hosel of the head and measure back to the butt of the grip, your 7 iron shaft should measure 35 inches. Please note you may be able to go 1/8th to 1/4 inch shorter than this by tapping the ferrules on our shafts on a little bit more (not all heads have allowment for this but many do) meaning the existing 7 iron shaft in your club could measure from 34.75 up to 35 from the black ferrule to the end of the grip. That would determine that these shaft would play the same length as your existing irons.
